Terms and Conditions

By creating an account or using Horse Breeders you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Horse Breeders is an app for managing horse breeding operations: horse profiles, pedigrees, health tracking, breeding services, embryo transfers, pregnancies and births, event history, photos, due-date reminders and shared access. It is available on iOS, Android and the web.

Who can use it

To create an account you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to accept these terms. If you use the service on behalf of a company or a stable, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.

Access roles

Within a stable you can assign different access levels to the people you invite:

• Owner: created the stable, purchases the subscription and has full access, including user management and billing.
• Edit: can enter and modify horse profiles, pedigrees, health records, breeding services and events.
• Read-only: can view the stable's information without modifying it.

The owner decides which role each invited person has and can change or revoke it at any time.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. Tell us immediately if you detect unauthorized use.

Your data

The data you record about your breeding operation (horses, pedigrees, health, photos, observations) is yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process and display it in order to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what you enter, including third-party data (for example, people's names) and photos, for which you must hold the necessary rights.

Shared access and public links

You can invite other people to your stable, with edit or read-only permission, and revoke that access whenever you want. You can also generate public links to share a horse's profile: anyone holding the link sees the sections you selected, without needing an account. Sharing a link is your decision and makes that information public to whoever receives it; you are responsible for who you share it with. You can delete it at any time and it stops working immediately.

Subscription and free trial

The subscription is per stable: the owner purchases it and it also covers the people they invited. Every new stable starts with a 30-day free trial. After that period, continued use requires an active subscription; without one, access to the stable's data is blocked until it is renewed, and nothing is deleted.

There are monthly and annual plans, and the price depends on the number of active horses in the stable (up to 150, or more than 150). The current price is shown in the store before you confirm the purchase. If your stable exceeds 150 active horses, the app will ask you to move to the larger plan to keep using it.

Subscriptions are purchased and renew automatically through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play, under their payment, renewal and cancellation terms. Renewal is charged at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand from your store settings; cancelling turns off auto-renewal, but you keep access until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are handled by the store where you purchased, according to its policies.

We may change prices; changes apply to subsequent periods and we will notify you at least 15 days in advance through the store or the app.

Notifications and health reminders

Due-date reminders are calculated from the dates and intervals you configure and are delivered subject to the availability of Apple's and Google's notification services: we do not guarantee that they arrive, or that they arrive on time. They are a management aid and do not replace your own oversight or the advice of a veterinarian.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or upload unlawful content.
• Do not attempt to access another stable's data without authorization.
• Do not interfere with the operation of the service or try to circumvent usage or subscription limits.
• Do not reverse-engineer the app or extract data by automated means.
• Do not scrape, crawl, or use bots, scripts or other automated techniques to access, collect or extract data from the service, including horse profiles accessible through public links.
• Do not resell or transfer access to your account to people outside your stable.

To protect the service from this kind of conduct we may apply technical measures such as rate limits, IP blocking or CAPTCHAs, without this constituting a service change subject to prior notice. If we detect this kind of use, we may block access — including access via public links — immediately and without prior notice, without prejudice to any other sanctions that may apply.

Breaches and sanctions

In the event of a breach of these terms, we may, depending on its severity:

• Issue a warning and request that it be corrected.
• Temporarily suspend the account or the affected stable.
• Remove content that violates these terms.
• Permanently terminate the account.
• Report it to the competent authorities, where required by law.

We will notify you of the sanction applied unless the severity of the breach or a legal obligation prevents it.

Intellectual property

The application, its code, design, brand and documentation are the property of Horse Breeders. These terms transfer no rights over them beyond a limited, personal, revocable and non-exclusive licence to use the service while your account is active.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service continuously available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may modify, add or discontinue features; if a change materially affects what you subscribed to, we will notify you at least 15 days in advance.

Backups

We keep database backups, but we recommend that you also keep your own copies of your stable's critical information. We are not liable for data loss resulting from misuse of the service or from failures beyond our control.

Warranties and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to it. Health records and reminders are a management tool and do not replace the advice of a veterinarian.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time under Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice unless the severity of the breach or a legal obligation prevents it. Cancelling your subscription does not delete your data: for that you must delete your account or request it by email.

App Store and Google Play

These terms are an agreement between you and Horse Breeders, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the application or its content, and have no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. In addition to this agreement, your use of the app is subject to the terms of the store you downloaded it from.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will publish the current version on this page with its date and, if the change is significant, notify you by email or within the app at least 15 days in advance. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic and any dispute will be submitted to its competent courts, without prejudice to the consumer rights granted to you by the law of your place of residence.

Ownership

Horse Breeders is a service provided by COLIBRÍ AGRO SRL, Argentine Tax ID (CUIT) 30-71610822-4.
